Here's one of the initial passes for the janitor. Still waiting for Darren's version. Let's get the character started this week as it's already Week 3. The faster we move the less work we have to catch up with next quarter.
The character we should go for is someone we can empathize with. I think an old man, maybe frail, is ideal. Still an able-body, hunched from all the hard work he's done evident from how spotless the facility is. I've talked to Dipesh and Humberto and thought about Darren's sketches, and we think that they look too hillbilly and inbred. We just don't think they fit the story, specially when he's going from sane to insane. These are just a few of our thoughts and I'm open to criticism. We want the best possible character design in this short about of time.
This is still a preliminary design and is subject to change. A few more should come up. Please post your thoughts.
