Rig Tutorial
Hey guys, here is a quick tutorial on some of the more obscure things about the rig.
First and foremost is the clothing with nCloth. 1) Select the clothing mesh
and then in the channel box, turn off it's layer (cloth_effects_test_001_layer2).
2) Then go to the attribute editor and under the nClothShape2 tab make sure "Enable" is unchecked.
The reason for this is because if the nCloth is enabled, when you try to scrub through the timeline it will try the calculate the cloth, and that will completely slow down everything. So don't worry about the nCloth for now, that will come later when we are ready to render.
The next thing is the shoulder shrug controls. These are under the ShoulderSpineControl (see image below). Here you have verticle and horizontal controls for the left and right shoulders independently.

another thing of note is that the face controls are not rigged to any sort of control. I will teach anyone who is doing facial animation the blendshape controls. It's not very difficult, just confusing. Everything else you should be able to figure out on your own. if you have any questions, go ahead and ask.
anyway, that's pretty much it, and have fun animating!

Clothing Dynamics test
I know that the effects is Sean's area, But I went ahead and did this because I needed to rig it to the character. So anyway, yeah, this is cloth simulation. Tell me what you guys think about this. Surprisingly it's not too heavy on the calculations. Took about 2 minutes on my laptop for 2 seconds. So that's about 1 minute calculation time per second. It would probably go faster on my desktop. So, tell me... Is it good, should i tweak it a little more, or scrap the idea?
